Hi beauties,

I just wanted to pop by quickly and say Happy New Year to everyone. Hope 2017 will be everything you wish it to be and so much more. 🙂

Today is a special day as this time last year, on 1st Jan 2016, I finally racked up the courage to go live with this beautiful blog. It is fair to say that this space had been in the making for at least a couple of years in my heart and soul before it was birthed into the world for everyone to see.

Blogging isn’t as easy as it may seem. It takes courage and lots of vulnerability to share your inner thoughts, your life and everything in between out to the world and be subjected to judgments and it sure had its challenges along the way. Once your content is out there, its for everyone to read/see and this has been difficult for me to navigate sometimes being quite a private person in real life.

But I’m proud of where this blog is taking me and where it’s headed from here. 🙂

As of today, we are 5000+ followers strong with over 3500+ views over the past year, yesterday 31st Dec 2016, being the day we had our highest number of views in a day at 100+ and this is only the beginning. I love seeing people from all over the world popping in to this blog, from USA, Canada and UK to Japan, Korea and Trinidad and Tobago. It literally blows my mind!

So thank you to all the readers who have liked, commented, shared, followed or just read the post, I am so very thankful for you all.

Lastly, Happy New Year once again, I hope you are enjoying this time of the year wherever you may be. 🙂
