Hi gorgeous girls! 🙂
I know it’s been a very long time since I checked in here.. Life has been a roller-coaster lately! 🙂
To fill you in, I’m so happy to report that in the last 6-8 months, I have done some fair bit of domestic travel across Australia. If you haven’t already, check out my previous posts about Perth, Adelaide and last but not the least Brisbane, that I’m yet to blog about. 🙂
This would mean I have now been to all the 5 big cities of Australia. It was my personal goal to ‘see’ all of them before I finish a decade of living in Australia, the anniversary being in July 2017.
Perth Nov 2016: Crown Plaza Review
All of my travels have been amazing and ‘solo’. I cannot believe it’s been 2 years since my first ever solo trip to Perth that started it all. Gosh, looking back I was still so naive and afraid of going at it on my own. Have you read about my first solo trip? You can read it here. 🙂
I have come a long way since then and know what my personal travelling style is. For one, I’m definitely a luxury traveller. As much as travelling in itself is fun and eye opening in many aspects, I cannot let go of the beautiful big comfortable king bed, the swimming pools and the cocktails by the pool 😀 So I try to incorporate a bit of everything; lots of sightseeing + road tripping + luxury hotel fun.
Today though I really wanted to talk about the importance of “just going for it” and not procrastinating!
If I can look back and point out that 1 thing that has helped me in finding a way to travel this often while holding a full time job is that on each instance, I made a decision to JUST DO IT. No procrastinating or questioning if I could.
Each time my heart expressed a desire to wander, I would just honour it and hold an intention to manifest the trip to the said destination! 🙂 I would then make a quick little list of all the items I need to check off to make it happen. For if you didn’t know,
Visualisation + Inspired Action + Positive Thinking = Manifestation
And then I would go to work on the travel dream. The usual practical stuff. i.e. Apply for annual leave at work. Research research research. Book flights. Book the hotel. Plan all activities. Leave days out for impromptu activities. Leave time out for R & R. etc
So gorgeous girls, what dreams do you have that you have procrastinated for a very long time? Are you putting things off because fear has been taking up space in your head and heart? I just wanted to say to you, that today is the day beautiful girl. Life is short and time is precious. If you have any dreams, it’s time to work on it NOW. Not next Monday. Not next month. Not next year.
And on that note, I’m already working on my next travel destination. I cannot wait! 😀
I’m going to make more of an effort to post regularly, I hate that my blog has been neglected the last few months, so I apologise if you have been left wondering why I wasn’t updating anything!
And last but not the least, I just wanted to thank you all for reading my posts and all the lovely comments I receive regularly from the readers, you are all amazing! 🙂
Until next time,
Lots of love,
